About The Role

We're looking for a Retail Operations Administrator to work within our Head Office. Working as part of our Retail Operations team, you'll assist the Retail department in the development and implementation of a more easy, efficient and productive way of working through a continuous drive for improvement in operational processes

  • Control relevant costs and have an understanding and awareness of all spend
  • Actively seek ways of reducing cost spend and mitigating any associated cost risk within Retail Operations
  • Consider cost implications when rolling out training / business initiatives
  • Calculate potential costs for resource for operational tasks/projects and produce analytical summaries for stakeholders
  • Produce clear, concise and appropriate communications to all areas of the business for any new or existing processes using relevant communication methods (i.e. intranet, email, conference call, reports)
  • Confident in producing and delivering power point presentations to stores /Head Office and senior levels
  • Work in conjunction with the productivity team to look at ways to aid in store productivity with reduction of task (admin and operational), with a less is more objective
  • Recommend and amend current policies and procedures where necessary ensuring the relevant operations manual and Intranet location are updated
  • Liaise with relevant departments to advise of new or changes to existing policies and procedure
  • Responsible for producing training timelines/processes and assist with delivery of training and roll out with regards to new in store projects/ systems & processes
  • Produce time line documentation and take ownership for small projects detailing the end to end timescales and vision
  • Responsible for conducting testing of projects both new & existing with regards to in store technology, processes & procedures with an aim of getting to pilot, trial and rollout phase
  • Provide weekly updates to line manager and senior manager on projects progress
  • Responsibility to ensure that any change / new process, procedure or system are fit for purpose from a store operational perspective
  • Work alongside other department stakeholders to review and identify improvement across all areas of store operation to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Build and maintain a healthy working relationship with all internal and external colleagues and suppliers
  • Support and develop instore colleagues with regard to all admin processes and procedures
  • Act as a point of contact for stores regarding any admin or operational support
  • Act as a link between head office and stores queries
  • Use self initiative to ensure any required tasks/projects are delivered end to end to a time scale and are measured
  • Engage in cross functional working practices the support the needs of the business

About You

  • Experience of store operations including admin and cash handling desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong numeric skills
  • Ability to deliver today while innovating the future
  • IT skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of delivering to tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work remotely and also part of a team
  • Proactive and capable of using own initiative
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility towards demanding and varied workload
