About The Role

As a Product & Delivery Manager you will own the Product vision and Roadmap to deliver the most impactful customer experience and business benefits.  You will be responsible for the Delivery of the Roadmap, therefore having full ownership from inception to execution.

You will contribute and work with the Ecommerce director and key stakeholders to translate the Omni-Channel strategy into the Product Vision.  You will be comfortable in large transformational programmes, and in delivering in significant cross-functional business wide projects.

You will be experienced in an omnichannel retail environment, and understand the complexities of bringing the online and offline together.

You will have experience delivering digital customer experience changes using Agile frameworks, tools and techniques, and will be able to both pragmatically apply them as required and also coach the team on their value and purpose.

You will also have experience working in traditional project methodologies, understanding the different approaches required for each methodology.

  • You will also assume line management responsibility for the Product, Development and QA parts of our team, ensuring those teams have the right individuals, skills and processes to positively contribute
  • Creates, owns and communicates the product vision and product roadmap
  • Gathers requirements effectively from other stakeholders within the business
  • Present Product Vision and Roadmap to the executive board and wider business both inception and progress
  • Helps the Product Owner to translate the product roadmap into a backlog of sprint ready stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Works with Researchers, Analysts and Designers to conduct any required research to inform the content and prioritisation of the product roadmap
  • Works with the Tech Lead and Solution Architect to shape / phase the roadmap given technology realities – architecture roadmaps, defects, code freeze periods
  • Works with the Tech Lead to understand and manage the product P&L, running the team as lean as possible and prioritising to deliver the most value 
  • Lead and coach the product squad to adopt a continuous improvement approach, exploring different agile / other methods and learning & iterating frequently
  • Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process
  • Matrix-manage the squad, coordinating with capability leads to get the right resource and support in place to allow the squad to increase velocity
  • Track team’s progress towards goals using relevant measurements and metrics
  • Proactively identify obstacles, risks and issues that may impede team velocity and work with all stakeholders required to remove them
  • Ensure squad ceremonies are in place
  • Track and manage team finances (actuals and forecasts)
