About the Role

Join one of the UK’s most renowned retailers in our marketing team as a POS Assistant.

Working within the Point of Sale (POS) team, which sits within the Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in the end to end lifecycle of our POS activity, from creating briefs to liaising with retail stakeholders to ensure they have everything they need for effective POS displays.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating POS specs – Seasonal, Mailer and Adhoc.
  • Maintenance of POS databases
  • Produce monthly POS order line reports to monitor store activity
  • Maintain a strong relationship with all internal stakeholders – VM, Retail, B&M, the wider Marketing team
  • Build relationships with B&M team to understand the product stories to ensure correct use of POS
  • Work alongside the creative artwork team & Buying teams to brief in POS specs, sign off and to send to print.
  • Support store development new store openings / refresh programme –ordering POS required, being a key point of contact for the store and occasional visits to support the new store set up’s
  • Point of contact for our POS order line facility. Dealing with queries, checking stock levels and producing monthly reports on stock orders
  • Support the print team for purchase orders and invoice queries
  • Assist in the set up & presentations of model stores
  • Work alongside the VM team to set up POS / Theatre in our onsite mock shop for seasonal E2E sign offs
  • Support the wider creative marketing function when required to deliver key projects / deadlines.

About You

  • Excellent PC skills – Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel essential
  • Excellent proven communication, presentation & influencing skills
  • Experience of delivering to tight deadlines
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Naturally enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to be solutions based
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • An understanding of Retail practices / POS knowledge desirable
