About the Role

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join the team on a 4 month fixed term contract.  You’ll assist in delivering Warehouse Operative Recruitment for our busy peak period and your main activities will consist of reviewing applications, telephone interviewing candidates, arranging and attending assessment centres and ensuring candidates have a positive recruitment experience.

  • Ensure vacancies are advertised and kept current and updated weekly, monitoring information to ensure up to date information and statistics
  • Receive direct applications, sift , screen and shortlist candidates, responding to regrets and holds where required
  • Conduct Telephone interviews and shortlist suitable candidates
  • Arrange and conduct assessment centres taking detailed notes where required
  • Handle enquiries from prospective candidates, as well as internal customers, both face to face and via the telephone
  • Produce offer letters and contracts of employment for new employees, and monitor their return, liaising with new starters and Line Managers as appropriate
  • Undertake all aspects of administration related to the recruitment of all roles to ensure that Company and legislative requirements are met
  • Arrange and attend assessment centres
  • Support Recruitment Team with all aspects of ad hoc administration duties as and when required in relation to advertising, recruitment, offers, new starters, payroll

About You

  • Solid administrative experience
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator (including strong verbal and written skills) with the ability to interact at a senior level
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Be engaging and offer a positive candidate experience
  • Be able to work at pace and to targets
  • Have a great telephone manner
  • Planning and organising skills – experience of delivering to tight deadlines
