About the Role

As part of our continuous investment into early careers, we are very excited to be looking for the next generation of talent in Retail and are recruiting an Apprenticeship role within our Store Development team.

Offering a great alternative to college or university, these opportunities are perfect for someone looking to start their career in Retail, without the need for a university degree.

Working in partnership with a relevant training provider, the apprenticeship programme will deliver high quality learning and development to the successful candidates. The 18-month programme will see you working closely with the Retail Stock & Commercial Reporting Manager, analysing reports and providing options & recommendations across all retail commercial reporting.

If you possess strong Excel skills, this is a great opportunity to get involved in understanding a large retail operation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support in reporting of commercial analysis for driving performance & informed decision making
  • Support in control of the retail cost budget
  • identify and act upon ways to improve own productivity and performance
  • Act as a point of contact for stores regarding RFID, FFS and Reporting queries
  • Liaise with relevant departments to advise of new or changes to existing policies and procedure 
  • Responsible for producing training timelines/processes

About You

  • Minimum 5 GCSE grades A-C / 9 – 5 including Maths and English
  • Previous Level 3 qualification (A-Levels or equivalent) would be beneficial but not compulsory
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to read and analyse data & reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at different levels
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
  • Self motivated with great organisational and time management skills
