About the Role

As our Visual Merchandiser on Menswear, you’ll work closely with the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager to manage the in-store strategy  in-line with the VM creative direction and focus to support the Visual Brand Strategy. You’ll support the model store process and give creative and inspiring visual guidance to the VM Co-ordinator, promoting a positive and innovative brand image. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Head Office teams to deliver exciting and inspirational, customer focussed Visual Merchandising guides in-line with the critical path to support the Trading and Marketing plan.
  • Follow a robust review and feedback process on improvements to the Creative VM principles that support the Brand, Commercial, Retail and end to end Mock Shop to Model Store process.
  • Work with the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager to suggest innovative and inspiring ways of working to support the visual strategy for all the aspects of the in-store visual creative concept including windows and POS.
  • Work with the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, Mens Buying teams and the Space Planning team to ensure visual merchandising delivers against density and space guidelines.
  • Ensure innovative and inspiring ways of working and Creative Visual Merchandising through Academy Stores training across model stores, training area specialists and academy stores to delivery what good looks like for the brand.
  • Understand the product selection for all visual merchandising communications to support the commercial goals of the Menswear categories and delivery of the critical path.
  • Use competitor insight to define the customer journey, driving innovation and ways of working to land a unique and stimulating store experience.

About You

  • Previous experience in an Area visual merchandising or Head Office visual merchandising role, ideally within the Menswear department.
  • Experience in writing visual communications and creating displays or installations, in commercial or fashion creative spaces
  • Large format fashion retail experience would be beneficial
  • An understanding of space planning would be beneficial
  • Creative and commercially minded with excellent brand awareness
  • A thorough understanding of the end to end Visual Merchandising process
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Experience using Microsoft packages including Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop
