QC & Returns Operative

As a Quality Control Coordinator, you'll check all incoming product quality, packaging, bar codes and box ends against Gold Seals where appropriate, and communicate any product failures to relevant parties.

• To inspect product ensuring it meets company specification and standards, aided by Web PDM and the Buying department
• Check product identification against purchase orders
• Complete relevant report documentation identifying actions where required
• To alert product/delivery failures to relevant parties, communicating action on held goods to the Distribution Centre where appropriate
• Ensure inspection and cycle of referral takes place within strict deadlines, ensuring efficient product flow through the DC
• Undertake in-house processing as required

• Good communication and organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience of maintaining accurate records
• Experience of working under pressure
• Excellent PC Skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
